Jess and Aaron’s Iceland couples session felt like the perfect calm before the wedding-day magic. The day before they eloped, we wandered through quiet roads, icy textures, and mountain views that looked straight out of a movie. Iceland has a way of making everything feel bigger — the landscape, the light, and the moments you share together.

This wasn’t a traditional engagement session, and that’s exactly why I loved it. It was simply a couples session: intentional, relaxed, and focused on connection. No pressure, no rules — just two people showing up as themselves and letting the experience unfold naturally.

It gives you time to slow down, shake off the nerves, and actually enjoy being in the moment without a timeline. You get to explore your location, move naturally, and create images that feel effortless and real — the kind of photos that remind you what it felt like, not just what it looked like.

Between the golden winter light, the crisp air, and the open landscapes, Iceland gave us the dreamiest backdrop. Jess’s bright red coat popped perfectly against the moody scenery, and the little moments — the laughs, the forehead touches, the quiet hugs — became the images I couldn’t stop smiling at while editing.
